Anna King, LCSW, PMH-C

Anna King is a licensed clinical social worker and certified perinatal mental health specialist. As the current Director of Training for Maternal Mental Health NOW, Anna oversees all training program and curriculum development designed to provide care professionals of all kinds with the tools to confidently respond to perinatal mental health. She has facilitated over 50 trainings on various topics concerning perinatal mental health including screening, best practices, and whole-person, intersectional approaches to care. Before joining the MMH-NOW team, Anna served as a clinical social worker in the neonatal intensive care and maternal child health units and the emergency department. She is a part-time psychotherapist with ARC Counseling and Wellness trained in EMDR and Somatic Experiencing. She is also a Ph.D. candidate in the Integral and Transpersonal Psychology program at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in the final stages of completing her dissertation exploring the intersection of the Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) trait and embodied social justice.

Dr. Janiel Henry, PsyD

Dr. Janiel Henry has worked in mental health in some capacity for more than 20 years, nationally and in international settings including South America, the Caribbean, and Africa. She is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in women’s mental health, women’s issues, and women’s wellness across the lifespan. She maintains a private practice in Claremont and is passionate about serving the Southern California community. Henry’s approach to her work incorporates a strengths-based and relational framework informed by a multicultural perspective. From a young age, she was called to the field and has expanded her passions to include teaching and preparing the next generation of therapists to bring healing, hope, and wholeness to their communities.  Dr. Henry is the founder of Women Rise Psychological and Wellness Center.

Susan Lowe, LMFT, PMH-C

Susan Lowe, is a highly skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) by Postpartum Support International, specializing in trauma and perinatal mental health with over 8 years of experience in the field. She has worked in various practice settings, including community-based, in-home, hospital, and foster care group homes. Susan is also an experienced trainer, having facilitated virtual and in-person training on intersecting topics within perinatal mental health and enhancing cross-cultural awareness. Her mission is to improve the well-being of women, birthing people, children, and families, and increase cultural competence and humility among providers who serve them. Dr. Daniel B. Singley, Ph.D., ABPP

Dr. Daniel B. Singley is a San Diego-based board certified psychologist and Director of The Center for Men’s Excellence. His research and practice focus on men’s mental health with a particular emphasis on reproductive psychology and the transition to fatherhood. Dr. Singley won the American Psychological Association’s 2017 Practitioner of the Year Award from the Division on Men & Masculinities. He is Past President of the APA’s Section on Positive Psychology and is currently the President of the APA’s Society for the Psychological Study of Men and Masculinities and the President’s Advisory  Council for Postpartum Support International. He conducts trainings and presentations around the country to assist individuals and organizations to enhance their level of father inclusiveness and founded the grant-funded Basic Training for New Dads, Inc nonprofit and Padre Cadre social networking application just for dads in order to give new fathers the tools they need to be highly engaged with their infants as well as their partners. In his free time, Dr. Singley likes to cook, surf, read, and trick his two teenage sons into activities so they can’t escape his annoying shrinky questions.
