Amanda Pitchford is a 9th-year lead faculty member and Mobile Health Clinic Administrator at California Baptist University College of Nursing. She received a Bachelor's Degree from California Baptist University, a Master's Degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University with an emphasis of Public Health and is currently a doctoral candidate at Loma Linda University where she is researching perinatal care practices in the community-based setting. Her nursing experience includes Labor and Delivery, Public Health Nursing, and non-profit sector work. In the community, she serves as the Treasurer for the Greater Inland Empire Black Nurses Association and is a local Chaplain specializing in Perinatal Spiritual Care. She remains committed to integrating faith into nursing and spiritual care practices that create safer care spaces in vulnerable communities.
