The Inland Empire Breastfeeding Coalition, a partnership of community organizations and members, is committed to strengthening support for breastfeeding through increasing awareness, creating and coordinating collaboration, and mobilizing resources to fill identified gaps. The IEBfC provides required continuing lactation education and support for health professionals and community health workers who serve perinatal families. All of the education is conducted virtually and a few skills assessment days each year are conducted in person at a partner facility.
