LaTeara Barnes serves as the Secretary for Project Fighting Chance's Board of Directors and SoCal Warriors Football and Cheer’s Board of Directors. In her role as Prevention and Outreach Supervisor at Option House Inc., she oversees the Teen Relationship Abuse Prevention program, championing education and advocacy for youth. She is an active member of the Child Abuse Awareness Committee, Women’s Awareness Subcommittee, and Community Policy Advisory Committee, contributing to meaningful policy development and awareness efforts.

With a Master’s in Public Administration specializing in Nonprofit Leadership, Barnes brings over 15 years of dedicated service to the communities of San Bernardino County. Her professional journey includes 12 years in the nonprofit sector, 10 years of experience in domestic violence and human trafficking prevention, 7 years youth empowerment, and 4 years in nonprofit leadership and strategic planning, reflecting a lifelong commitment to creating safer, more resilient communities.
