The Maternal Health Network has identified women who are pregnant and incarcerated as a population that may need additional support to ensure a healthy pregnancy and delivery. As such, a multi-disciplinary team made up of the Sheriff's Department, Inmate Services FAITHS Programming, and 2-1-1 Re-entry Supports gathers regularly to develop and deploy such supports. This team identified the need to provide information on resources available to women both while incarcerated and upon release. As such, a pregnancy pamphlet was developed that provided information on the various resources that are available for individuals who are pregnant while incarcerated and when they reenter the community.
