MHN Created Tools & Resources

Maternal Health Network has created a variety of tools to help providers in their services to families who are planning to get pregnant, who are currently pregnant, or who have recently delivered a child in San Bernardino County. These tools have been established based on the direction provided by membership and in conjunction with subject matter experts from within our membership.

Community Education Bundles

Community Education Bundles are meant be utilized by MHN members for community education efforts around healthy pregnancy and delivery.

Each community education bundle contains a workshop PowerPoint with facilitator notes, subject matter expert videos, family fact sheets, and provider tip sheets

Communications & Social Media Collateral

The MHN has developed a toolkit to support effective community messaging as well as a library of social media collateral that can be co-branded and utilized by our member agencies.

Social media tiles have been created to support increased family and provider awareness on issues of importance for maternal and infant health.

Bright by Text Supports

MHN has a sponsorship relationship with Bright by Text.  Bright by Text is a technology platform that offers families at least 2-4 messages per week, timed specifically based on the child due/birth date, free of charge.

MHN members can request outreach materials to support family enrollment.  They can also submit custom messages that they would like distributed to families enrolled in the free resource.

Best Practice Briefs & Protocols

The MHN has produced research briefs containing best practices, screening and assessment tools and protocols for implementation in the areas of universal screenings and support for women who are pregnant and involved in the criminal justice system.
