Join us for a virtual gathering where you will have an opportunity to connect with other maternal health providers, share and utilize resources available to you through the MHN, and collectively work toward our mid-term action planning goals designed to improve maternal health outcomes in San Bernardino County.

Mid-Term Action Planning Workshops

The MHN will be hosting six Action Planning Workshops (APW) to collaboratively establish the Mid-Term Action Plan for the following six mid-term priorities:
​
  1. Work with local school districts to connect pregnant teens to services both on and off school sites.​
  2. Support co-location of services and team approaches to care for families accessing maternal health services.
  3. Prioritize service expansion in the following areas: Black Infant Health, pre- and inter-conception care, breastfeeding, and behavioral health, midwives and doulas, as well as home visiting that specifically focuses on families who are pregnant.
  4. Ensure the availability of a maternal health help-line that provides resource information and navigational supports.
  5. Establish a data collection effort that can be used throughout the Maternal Health Network.
  6. ​Partner to support workforce recruitment within the maternal health sectors, with an emphasis on reaching people of color
​
One workshop will be hosted each week over the course of six weeks, between January 18th and  February 22nd. Click on the button below to register for one or more of the workshops for the topics listed above.
